Cinema Guard

Cinema Guard is a Windows desktop app that removes profanity, swear words and vulgar language from your own video files. Point it at a film, press Censor, and it writes a clean copy next to the original with the offending words muted and the subtitles cleaned up to match.

It listens to the film's dialogue with a speech model, or reads the subtitles it already has, then mutes only the moments that carry a filtered word. Background music, sound effects and the rest of the dialogue are left exactly as they were, and the video itself is never re-encoded.

Key Capabilities

• Word-accurate muting: Speech-model timings silence the exact word, not the whole line, so the scene still makes sense.
• Clean subtitles: Offending words are masked in the subtitle track too, with the choice to keep the cleaned subtitles separate or embedded.
